Amateur software training abounds on YouTube, but effective training requires much more than a screen capture tool. These days, learners expect a high degree of polish--are you prepared to deliver it?

Software expert and national speaker Kevin Siegel will lead us through his proven methods for creating engaging software training with the perfect balance of visuals and audio to maximize learning.

In this high-octane, hands-on class, you'll learn the process of writing and testing two critical software training documents: a step-by-step recording script and a voiceover script. You’ll get practice writing your script, and by the end of class, you'll put it all together in your eLearning tool of choice. (Bring Captivate, Storyline, or Camtasia to class... we've seen and have expertise in all of them!)

Take your software training skills to the next level! You and your learners will value the results.

Special Instructions:

  • Registration open until September 20

  • Class will be online through the GoToTraining platform

  • Recommended but not required: eLearning development tool of your choice (such as Captivate, Storyline, or Camtasia)

Kevin A. Siegel is the founder and president of IconLogic, Inc. He has written more than 100 step-by-step computer training books, including titles for Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.
