About the Chapter
Since 1947 the Cascadia Chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) has been supporting seasoned and new talent development professionals in Oregon and SW Washington.
We take pride in creating an engaged community and opportunities to learn and grow together. As one of the largest ATD chapters in the nation, our members make ATD-Cascadia the place for workplace learning professionals to learn, connect, and develop.

What We Do
We support the talent development profession by providing trusted content in the form of topical programs, virtual learning, networking, job listings, contract opportunities and more. We host an annual conference for our region with the latest in talent development thought leaders.
Operational Principles
We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive and sustainable professional membership association. We continuously assess and improve all of our policies, procedures and practices. We are a learning organization and seek to develop satisfied volunteers and effective leaders. Transparency and fiscal responsibility are the foundations that ensure our continued success.
Who We Serve
Our members are professionals who help others achieve their full potential by improving their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace. They go by many titles: talent development managers, trainers, instructional designers, performance consultants, frontline managers, workplace learning professionals, and more.
ATD-Cascadia’s members come from the State of Oregon and SW Washington and work in organizations of all sizes and in all industry sectors.
