She has designed, developed and facilitated a variety of courses for adult learners, including technical skills, soft skills, and supervisor skills, in addition to representing the training function on corporate projects. She currently works at Noom as the CX Learning & Development Team Manager, where she oversees internal training programs, internal content (policies and procedures), and external content (online help articles).

A three-time ATD BEST Award winner, she specializes in onboarding, leadership development, performance support and talent consulting. She holds an ATD Instructional Design Certificate and is certified in Korn Ferry Leadership Architect™ and 360, with extensive experience applying competency modeling and feedback to learning strategy. Marla has an M.A. in English literature and has taught writing and literature at the university level.
