February Chapter Meeting: Saying "Yes" in a World Gone Virtual

In the midst of pandemic panic, our guest speaker Curtis Haley said ‘Yes’ to creating his own event consulting firm. Along the way, he fine-tuned what it takes to authentically engage audiences online.

At certain points in his life, Curtis Haley has been a professional trainer, a keynote speaker, an event manager, a project management professional, a political organizer, and even an aspiring game show host. At the end of 2020, in the midst of COVID, he put all of those experiences together to create his own consulting firm, Beyond Consulting LLC. Curtis is thrilled to share some of his personal story, as well as sharing some lessons learned about maximizing engagement in virtual spaces.

• Our Chapter Meetings are a great opportunity to connect with talent development colleagues from across the area as well as to learn something new as each meeting focuses on a different topic related to our profession. Meetings take place the place the third Monday of each month (except December) and are open to members and non-members alike.
