      Lenny Borer | Portland, Oregon

      Lenny has been a FOT facilitator since the beginning of the program and has over 30 years of experience in the learning and development industry.  He specializes in training, facilitation and custom programs. He is a certified provider for the DISC system.

      Jillian Douglas | Idea Learning Group |Portland, Oregon

      Jillian Douglas is co-founder and chief learning officer of Idea Learning, a learning and strategy agency that provides instructional design and development to a variety of clients in a variety of industries.

      Dan Vetter, CPLP | Vetter Solutions |Portland, Oregon

      Dan has over 30 years of industry experience and is the founder of VETTER SOLUTIONS with the motto: Organizations run better with VETTER. After two decades of designing and delivering LIVE training sessions, during the last 10 years, the company has focused on designing and developing custom e-learning courses for a variety of corporate, public and non-profit clients.

      Jennifer Webster |Business Strategies |Salem, Oregon

      Jennifer Webster, PhD, is the Organizational Development leader for Berry Dunn.  She is all the principal of Business Strategies, Inc., and provides consulting services in the areas of strategic planning, facilitation, team and leadership development, process analysis, and curriculum development. She provides services in both the private and public sector.

      Program Details

      • Sessions are held virtually over Zoom. Links to the Zoom meeting are sent prior to each session.
      • Because our sessions use all of the interactivity tools available from Zoom, joining the training from a desktop or laptop computer is strongly recommended.
      • Enrollment is limited to 30 participants.
      • Though this course is offered virtually, it is not a class specific to virtual training or virtual platforms, such as Zoom.

        • Partial registration (We highly recommend taking all four sessions; however, if you are looking for a refresher, need to make up a session or can only attend one, partial registration may be allowed).

      Recertification Credits

      CPTD (estimated 12 hours)
      CPTDs earn one recertification point/credit for each physical hour of continuing education within one’s current role/job or involving a new experience or content. You will need to keep records of the event and prepare any paperwork required by National ATD. Visit the CPTD Website for complete information.

      HRCI and SHRM
      This program may be eligible for self-certification for HRCI and SHRM recertifications credits. You will need to keep records of the event and prepare any paperwork required by either HRCI and SHRM. Visit either site at HRCI website or SHRM website for more information.

      ATD Capability Model

      The ATD Capability Model outlines what practitioners need to know and do to development themselves, others, and their organizations. Participants in the Fundamentals of Training course complete a free self-assessment and learn how to build a custom learning plan for ongoing professional professional development.
