Monthly Chapter Meeting - Strategies for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) relies on having a good strategy. Does your organization have the right tools to introduce and promote DEI? Come to our next Chapter meeting to add to your toolbox!

Our presenter will be Kirsten Simmons, V.P. of Organizational Development at Oregon Community Credit Union. Kirsten will share her experiences and walk you through best practices you can apply in your organization to create a culture of inclusion.

As Oregon Community Credit Union’s Vice President of Organizational Development, Kirsten Simmons is a leader in change management and career growth. Over the last year she has utilized these skills to support OCCU in enhancing their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program. By establishing a DEI task force, driving DEI initiatives, and creating learning programs, OCCU has seen success in creating a culture of inclusion. Kirsten is excited to share her experiences and provide you tools to help introduce DEI to your organization.

• Our Chapter Meetings are a great opportunity to connect with talent development colleagues from across the area as well as to learn something new as each meeting focuses on a different topic related to our profession. Meetings take place the place the third Monday of each month (except December) and are open to members and non-members alike.
