Creating Age-Inclusive Training and Materials
Please join us for ATD Cascadia’s Learning Over Lunch on Thursday, April 20th, when we’ll talk about:
· Creating age-inclusive training and materials, and
· Making sure age diversity is part of our DEI awareness.
Why the focus on age? Because today’s healthier lifestyles and medical advances mean most of us are going to live longer, healthier lives. And that means we’ll have longer careers, too.
But if organizations continue to focus on age as a limiting factor, they’ll miss out on the skills and talents that all employees can offer when they’re given well-designed training, respect, and opportunities for growth.
Get ready to challenge your thinking about what “aging” means; whether “generations” really define us; and what happens when we stop suggesting there’s a “silver tsunami” underway—and focus on the broad reservoir of experience and talent, instead.
