How can better assessments improve learning?

No matter how perfect your training may be, without a solid assessment strategy you’ll never know if you’re making a difference. And your learners could be missing much needed corrections during training. Clearly we must be as good at developing assessments as we are at developing instruction.

To harness the power of assessments, join our latest three-part series: “ABCs of Assessment.” This program will benefit instructional designers, live instructors, and coaches – in short, any learning professional. You will embark on a “quest” in three stages

You will embark on a “quest” in three stages:

  • Learn best practices, including how to:

    • choose the right type of assessment

    • align questions to learning objectives

    • craft valuable feedback for learners

  • Practice with examples, including how to:

    • use formative assessment while teaching

    • write clear and fair quiz questions

    • design for accessibility and avoid bias

  • Grow your skills:

    • use an assessment planning tool

    • collaborate on a small assessment design challenge

    • leverage many take-away resources

Your registration gets you into all three sessions from 5 to 6:30pm.

Your registration gets you into all three sessions, but if you miss a session, our facilitators can get you caught up. Don’t miss this unique chance to boost a vital learning & development capability!

Target Audience:
