Are you looking for a friendly and collaborative opportunity for knowledge sharing? Join other Talent Development professionals for our Free ATD-Cascadia’s Learning over Lunch series.
This virtual discussion group is offered every third Thursday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. We will explore current trends and topics through small group discussions based on a shared resource, article, video, or podcast selected by a chapter member. We invite you to bring your ideas, stories, and questions to what we hope will be an engaging session!
This month’s focus will be on how to use ChatGPT in an instructional design context, seeking to leverage this new and exciting tool to save you time and effort at work. Used properly, this application can help summarize notes from SMEs, create curriculum outlines, answer and hone content-related questions, and more. We will also discuss ethical and performance-related questions, and look to gain consensus on how to best use generative AI in the field.
Pre-work for this session
Please come prepared to be on video (if possible) and participate in small group discussions based on these two readings: We used ChatGPT to write a blog about ChatGPT: What that means for Instructional Designers and How to Use ChatGPT for Instructional Design
