Are you looking for a friendly and collaborative opportunity for knowledge sharing? Join other Talent Development professionals for our Free ATD-Cascadia’s Learning over Lunch series.
This virtual discussion group is offered every third Thursday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. We will explore current trends and topics through small group discussions based on a shared resource, article, video, or podcast selected by a chapter member. We invite you to bring your ideas, stories, and questions to what we hope will be an engaging session!
What does accessibility mean to you? Now, what does it mean to you when you create learning material or eLearning?
Our October Learning over Lunch session focuses on embracing accessibility. Our presenter is ATD Cascadia chapter member Marnie Faust, whose passion is to create accessible learning material that fosters inclusivity and incorporates adult learning principles. Looking at eLearning design, we will work on thinking from diverse learners’ perspectives. We will also discuss changing the mindset that accessibility is just another box to check off and instead, understanding it as a commitment to enhance the experience for all learners.
