Performance Consulting – Partnering to Create Lasting Results
This is a 2 day course July 23rd and July 30th. Register here for both days.
Intended Audience
Learning and HR professionals interested in shifting their work from a solutions focus to a results focus.
External consultants who would like a refresher and who seek lasting outcomes from their work.
Managers and anyone else who is frustrated with the lack of long-term results many initiatives deliver.
Overview
Have you ever found yourself working on a training initiative when you knew it was unlikely to solve the real problem? Perhaps you’ve heard about the importance of being a strategic partner “to the business” but are unsure what exactly that means or how to go about it. Have you overheard your internal or external clients express frustration that a training program “didn’t work”?
When business leaders come to L&D for help, they often have a solution in mind – often times, it’s the wrong or incomplete solution. In this two-session workshop, Dana Pratt will guide you through a process of evaluating requests, identifying business and performance needs, and building long-term client relationships that can help you shift away from “order taking” and toward a proactive approach that will make you a valued partner in driving positive business outcomes.
